Nassau police are investigating after the Shot Spotter system alerted authorities to shots fired Saturday evening in Roosevelt.

The Shot Spotter system reported that shots had been fired at 6:10 p.m. in a residential area at the corner of St. Francis Street and Cumberland Avenue.

When police arrived, officers found six shell casings in front of a driveway on Cumberland Avenue.

No injuries or damage were reported, and police continue to investigate.
