New Cassel, Massapequa teens missing, say cops

Nassau County police said two teens — one from New Cassel and the other from Massapequa — went missing early Monday in separate incidents.
Amari Young, 13, was last seen leaving his home in New Cassel at around 6 a.m. Monday, police said, while 15-year-old Ciera Nixon last was seen leaving a residential group home in Massapequa around midnight.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the department’s Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911.
All callers will remain anonymous.
