Nassau County police vehicle rear-ended, cops say

A Nassau County police officer was hospitalized after his patrol vehicle was rear ended in Lake Success on Friday.
A police spokeswoman said the officer was at the intersection of North Service Road and Community Drive at about 11:41 a.m. when another driver struck his highway patrol vehicle from behind.
The officer suffered minor injuries.
