Nassau Marine Bureau: 3 canoers rescued canoers in Bayville
Nassau County police’s Marine Bureau rescued three people whose boat overturned in the water Friday night near Centre Island Beach in Bayville.
Police said the men, ages 40, 34 and 33, were found clinging to a canoe that tipped over about 10:20 p.m., when they called 911.
Officers rescued the three men, and their canoe was taken to shore.
None of the men needed medical attention, police said.
