Two Nassau County men have been charged in connection with several Lido Beach burglaries this month, police said.

Jeremy S. Laratro, 18, of 6 Kensington St. in Lido Beach, was arrested Monday and charged with burglarizing a Bunker Road home on April 9.

He was arraigned Tuesday on second-degree burglary charges. Nassau County police said he took an Xbox 360 video game system, jewelry and a laptop.

Laratro was again arrested Saturday at his home and charged with burglarizing a Leamington Street home on April 8 and stealing jewelry from a Greenway Road residence on April 14.

Dayvon R. Merchant, 22, of 23 Oak Court, Long Beach, was also charged in the April 8 and April 14 burglaries, police said.

Laratro and Merchant are set to be arraigned Monday on burglary and attempted burglary charges in First District Court in Hempstead.

Laratro also faces a grand larceny charge, police said.
