Nassau County 911 system back to normal

Nassau County announced that its 911 system was back to normal operations Saturday night.

For about two hours, from about 7 to 9 p.m., Nassau officials said its 911 system was experiencing increased wait times.

In a news release, officials had encouraged people who needed to immediately speak to police to call precincts directly.
