Nassau police are looking for an armed man who robbed a 7-Eleven store in Elmont early Friday morning.

Police said the man entered the store at 254 Elmont Rd. about 4:57 a.m. armed with a silver and black handgun and demanded money. After being given an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot west on Hoffman Avenue. Police said no one was hurt in the robbery.

Police said the robber is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black knit ski mask, black long-sleeve shirt and gray sweatpants with a Nike logo, police said.
