Nassau police are investigating a bank robbery in Mineola that occurred Monday afternoon.

Police said a man entered a TD Bank at 540 Jericho Tpke., gave a note to a teller, and verbally demanded cash. After being given an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled.

Police said the six bank employees and three customers in the bank at the time were not injured.

Police said the suspect was described as being between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet and 10 inches tall with a slim build and wearing a brown hoodie, baseball cap and sunglasses.
