Nassau police seek missing woman
Nassau County police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing woman who was last seen Thursday morning at a Manhasset motel, police said in a news release.
Doris E. Steier, 78, was last seen at the Royal Inn Motor Lodge around 2:30 a.m., police said, driving a red 2009 Nissan Altima. Police said she was driving east on Northern Boulevard.
Steier is described as 5-foot-4 and 120 pounds with white hair. She was wearing a tan sweatsuit.
Anyone with information can call 911.
