Nassau police said they are investigating the robbery of three people as they left an Elmont eatery early Sunday morning.

Police say two women in their 30s and a 39-year-old man were walking along Linden Boulevard after leaving Café Moments, when they were approached by three men in a white BMW X5 with tinted windows and a black roof rack shortly before 5 a.m.

Two of the men, one armed with a small, dark revolver, left the car and demanded the victims hand over their property. The victims complied, giving up their phones, pocketbooks and cash, police said.

The suspects fled in the BMW heading west on Linden Boulevard. No injuries were reported.
