Nassau police: 2 pedestrians hit by vehicle in East Meadow

Two pedestrians received minor injuries after they were struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon in East Meadow, Nassau County police said.
The incident occurred at 1:45 p.m. on Marion Drive at North Jerusalem Road, across the street from the Rosemary Kennedy School, police said.
The pedestrians, who were not affiliated with the school, were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries, and the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, according to police.
No additional information was immediately available Thursday afternoon.
