Nassau stretch of LIE closed overnight
A stretch of the Long Island Expressway in Nassau County will be shut down overnight starting Sunday night for repair work, state transportation officials said.
Pavement maintenance work will be done from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday westbound between Exit 43, South Oyster Bay Road, and Exit 40, Jericho Turnpike, officials said.
The closures will last about two weeks, according to the state Department of Transportation.
