A stretch of the Long Island Expressway in Nassau County will be shut down overnight starting Sunday for repair work, state transportation officials said.

Pavement maintenance work will be done 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday on westbound LIE between Exit 43, South Oyster Bay Road, and Exit 40, Jericho Turnpike, the state said.

The closures will last about two weeks, according to the DOT.
