Nassau County is offering a new job-training program to help return the unemployed to the workforce.

The Employment Assistance Resource Program, funded by a federal grant, will feature one-on-one coaching and weekly group meetings.

Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday mornings at the Office of Housing and Homeless Services in Hempstead. Participants will get help with office and computer skills, resume and cover-letter writing, and the job-search process. Mock interviews, customer service training and money management classes are also available.
