NICE bus passenger hit by glass from shattered window, cops say
Authorities are investigating a possible shooting Saturday after a NICE bus passenger got glass in his eye, Village of Hempstead police said.
Police said a passenger reported hearing a bang as a window shattered on board shortly after 7 a.m.
Police were unable to confirm a shooting and did not find any evidence of a bullet, Hempstead police said. Police were looking into whether the window may have been shattered by a BB gun.
Police said they had no suspects.
