No injuries as car slams into Freeport storefront, say cops

A car crashed through the facade of a pet spa in a strip-mall storefront in Freeport on Thursday, but no one was injured, authorities said.
The accident occurred at 10:32 a.m. at Pet Spa, a store on Atlantic Avenue between Bedell and South Main streets, authorities said.
No person and no pet was hurt, a Freeport village spokeswoman said, and no charges have been filed.
The cause of the crash was not immediately available.
