No injuries in Lakeview fire

A family was forced from their home just before noon on Wednesday, January 6 2010, after a fire broke out in their house on Coventry Road North in Lakeview. Firefighters were quickly on the scene as heavy smoke blanketed the neighborhood. Red Cross representatives were busy relocating the three adults and six children displaced by the blaze. Police and fire officials were investigating a late-morning blaze on Coventry Road North in Lakeview, officials said Wednesday.
No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the blaze was not immediately clear.
A call was received by 911 at 11:23 a.m. and fire officials said volunteers from Lakeview, West Hempstead, Franklin Square and Rockville Centre fought the fire. An investigator from the Nassau County Fire Marshal's Office was on scene.
