No serious injuries in school bus crash

Two cars and a school bus were involved in an accident Friday morning in Massapequa, but Nassau County police said there were no serious injuries.

"There were children on the bus and they were taken to a hospital as a precautionary measure," a police spokesman said.

The accident occurred at 7:30 a.m. on Merrick Road at Park Boulevard, and one of the cars overturned, the spokesman said.
