The North and Central Merrick Civic Association will hold a meeting Wednesday to discuss the conditions of local roadways, the organization said in a news release.

The meeting, to be held at the North Merrick Public Library, will be at 7 p.m., and Hempstead Town council members Gary Hudes and Erin King Sweeney have been invited.

Also invited was Hempstead Highway Supervisor Andrew Schneider and representatives from National Grid were also invited.

The release said that residents with concerns about specific roads needing repairs or rehabilitation “should bring all pertinent information regarding exact locations.”

Residents with questions or concerns should call the civic associationat 516-972-6988, it said. The library is at 1691 Meadowbrook Rd.
