A vehicle crashed into the 7-Eleven on Newbridge Road in East Meadow on Friday morning. The driver was injured, according to Nassau police. Credit: John Scalesi

At least one person was injured after a vehicle crashed into a 7-Eleven in East Meadow on Friday morning, Nassau County police said.

Around 8:18 a.m., police received a call about a2019  Hyundai Sonata that crashed into the store on Newbridge Road.

The 20-year-old driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
