North Hempstead is requesting residents’ help in reporting new potholes as the weather warms and gives rise to more craters in the roadway.

Residents can assist highway crews already at work by using the town’s app or website or by calling 311.

“The Town’s Highway Department is working hard to fulfill our promise to repair pothole requests on Town roads as quickly as possible,” Supervisor Judi Bosworth in a news release.

As of late February, the Highway Department had filled 132 potholes and addressed nearly 100 resident service requests, according to the release.
