North Woodmere crash leaves pedestrian injured, cops say
A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle in North Woodmere on Sunday evening, Nassau County police said.
A department spokesman said detectives were investigating the details of the incident, which occurred on Park Lane near Cedarhurst Street shortly after 7p.m.
The pedestrian was set to be airlifted from the scene for medical treatment, the spokesman said.
The nature of the injuries was not known, and no other details were immediately available Sunday night.
