Northern Boulevard in Manhasset reopens after fire

A fire at a clothing store closed Northern Boulevard in both directions between Shelter Rock Road and Searingtown Road in Manhasset for about one hour Monday morning, officials said.

The fire closed the road at 5:45 a.m., Nassau County police said. The road was reopened at 6:40 a.m. No injuries have been reported at this time.

Fire officials said volunteers from the Manhasset, Port Washington, Great Neck, Plandome, New Hyde Park and Garden City Park fire departments were on scene fighting the blaze. Additional details were not immediately available.
