Official: Man dies in fall on Port Washington beach

A man whose body was found on Bar Beach in Port Washington on Saturday morning apparently committed suicide.

His body was found in the water off the beach at about 10 this morning. It appeared he had taken a fall and struck his head on rocks.

Police found a suicide note in the man's home, an official said.
