Officials: Amber Alert canceled after mom, kids found safe

Nassau County police said a Jericho woman and her two children reported missing early Monday have been found unharmed.

Police said about 9 a.m. that an Amber Alert issued for them earlier in the morning had been canceled.

The mother is Sun Shin, about 31 years old, and the children are Promise Lee, a 2-month-old male, and Love Lee, a 2-year-old female, the alert said.

Shortly before 9 a.m., a man who answered the door at the family’s apartment declined to identify himself but said everything was OK.

“They’ve been found already,” he said of the mother and children. “There’s no problem.”
