New York State Park Police responded Wednesday to an 11:30 a.m. call of a person being electrically shocked on a movie set at the Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park in Oyster Bay, police said.

On Wednesday "a welder received an electrical shock while working on the construction of the Long Island set of [the film] 'NOAH,' " said a spokeswoman for Paramount Pictures.

"As a precautionary measure, the individual was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and has since been cleared for release," she said.

"None of the filmmakers or cast were present, as the film is currently shooting outside of the U.S.," she said, adding, "the incident is currently under investigation."

The cast of the film, which is based on a graphic novel that reimagines the biblical story of Noah, includes Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Douglas Booth.

A Long Island casting call for "Noah" last month drew hundreds of people hoping to appear as extras in the film.
