Old Country Rd. reopens after crash

A crash involving a tractor trailer and a car Tuesday morning closed eastbound Old Country Road in Plainview for more than two hours, Nassau County police said.
The accident occurred at about 7:30 a.m., near the intersection of Old Country Road and Lincoln Road, said a police spokesman. Normal traffic resumed at about 9:45 a.m., police said.
Westbound traffic at the intersection was being diverted to the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway, Route 135, police said.
The spokesman said he had no other information.
