Old Country Road closed after crash
Old Country Road in Hicksville was closed in both directions after a car hit a pole, knocking down wires, Nassau police said.
The road was closed between South Oyster Bay and New South roads after the accident, which occurred about 2 p.m., police said.
It reopened by late afternoon, police said,
