Firefighters from four Nassau County departments battled an early morning blaze in Lynbrook in which one firefighter was injured, officials said.

Nassau fire officials said the firefighter was transported to a hospital. Officials said the injuries were not believed to be serious.

Fire officials said volunteers from Lynbrook, Malverne, Rockville Centre and East Rockaway responded to the house fire on Leaman Place, located not far from Greis Park. The fire was reported at 7:05 a.m., officials said.

The fire was under control by 9 a.m.
