One injured in tractor-trailer collision in New Hyde Park

At least one person was injured after a car and a tractor-trailer collided Sunday afternoon in North New Hyde Park, Nassau County police said.

Police said the call came in at 12:34 p.m. reporting the crash at Union Turnpike and Lakeville Road.

There was no immediate word on how many were injured, although an ambulance was requested. Police did not have any additional information on the crash early Sunday afternoon.
