One killed in two-vehicle crash in Farmingdale, police say

Police are investigating an early morning two-vehicle accident Monday on the Plainedge/South Farmingdale border that left one person dead.
The crash occurred at about 5:40 a.m. on Hempstead Turnpike just east of Bethpage Parkway, Nassau police said.
Additional details were not being released, police said, citing the continuing investigation.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
