One minor injury in school bus crash

One person was taken to a nearby hospital Friday after a school bus with children and a car crashed in Levittown, Nassau County police said.

The accident happened about 8:49 a.m., according to a police spokeswoman, near Hempstead Turnpike and Loring Road.

The injured person was taken to the hospital for observation, the spokeswoman said. She had no other details.
