One seriously hurt in Cold Spring Harbor crash
An early-morning crash left at least one person seriously injured and shut down Route 25 A in Cold Spring Harbor for hours Thursday, police said.
The crash took place at 1:26 a.m. on Route 25 A between Carnegie Avenue and Glen Way, Suffolk County police said. Investigators remained on scene until about 6:30 a.m.
Additional details were not immediately available.
Police could not immediately say if more than one person was seriously injured, could not say what caused the crash and could not immediately detail the extent of the injuries.
