Parades cause street closures in Nassau County
Several streets in Garden City and Mineola are scheduled to be shut down Sunday afternoon due to parades, Nassau police said.
The following streets will be closed to traffic from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.:
Franklin Ave between Stewart Ave. and Old Country Road
Old Country Road between Franklin Ave. and Washington Ave.
11th St. between Franklin Ave. and Washington St., as well as County Seat Drive
