Pothole repair crews closed two lanes of the Long Island Expressway Tuesday morning in eastern Nassau County, police said in a traffic advisory.
Nassau County police said the westbound left and HOV lanes of the expressway between Exits 41 and 31 were being closed so rolling construction crews could repair potholes.
An email advisory was sent shortly before 10 a.m.
The Department of Transportation said on its website, informny.com, the work was completed at about 2:30 p.m.
