Cops: 2 Elmont men face grand larceny charges in use of stolen credit cards

Nassau County police arrested two Elmont men on grand larceny charges after they were seen using multiple stolen credit cards.
Police said Paul A. Webster, 25, of 104 Village Ave., was seen on video surveillance about 6:30 p.m. Friday using an ATM at a Waldbaum's store at 336 N. Broadway in Jericho, while taking out cash from various banks and holding multiple credit and debit cards.
Around the same time, New York Community Bank security saw another man, Owen Johnson, 27, of 238-14 117th Rd. using multiple cards to withdraw cash from an ATM at 100 Duffy Ave. in Hicksville.
Police arrested Webster using the ATM at the Waldbaum's and Johnson was arrested after walking down Newbridge Road past the Duffy Avenue ATM.
Property crime detectives said the two men parked their Audi at the Long Island Rail Road station at Duffy and Newbridge Road, where police found multiple credit and debit cards and an unspecified amount of cash.
Webster was charged with six counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument and Johnson faces 10 counts of the same charge. Johnson was also charged with fourth-degree grand larceny.
Both men were arraigned Saturday in First District Court in Mineola. Webster was held on $3,500 bail or bond; Johnson was held on $3,000 bail or bond. Both are set to return to court Wednesday.
