Pedestrian hit by car in Hempstead
A pedestrian was hit by a car early Friday on Fulton Avenue in Hempstead Village, police said.
Police received a call about 12:25 a.m. for an injured pedestrian near the intersection of California Avenue. The victim was taken to a local hospital by ambulance. Police did not immediately have information about the injuries.
The car involved stopped at the crash scene and no arrest was made, Nassau County police said.
