Pedestrian hit by car in Hicksville
A pedestrian was transported to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow with injuries sustained after being struck by a car in Hicksville on Monday, police said.
The condition of the victim was not immediately known.
Nassau County police said the person was struck at the intersection of East Marie Street and Park Avenue at about 7 a.m. No other details were immediately available.
