Pedestrian hit by vehicle on Bethpage/Hicksville border, police say

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Wednesday on the Bethpage-Hicksville border, Nassau police said.
The victim, who was hit in the area of South Oyster Bay Road and Stewart Avenue around 2:51 p.m., was taken a hospital, police said.
Police are on scene investigating,
No other information was immediately available.
