Pedestrian in hospital after being hit by vehicle

A female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Hicksville on Friday evening, Nassau County police said.
Police said she was hit at North Broadway and Princess Street at 5:35 p.m. She was taken to a hospital, and a police spokeswoman did not immediately know her condition.
