Pedestrian struck in North Bellmore, cops say

A pedestrian was struck before dawn on Monday at a North Bellmore intersection and taken to a local hospital, and the site remains closed, Nassau police said.
The driver stayed after the 3:15 a.m. collision at Jersusalem Avenue and Newbridge Road.
