<a href="/topics//Long_Island_Rail_Road">Long Island Rail Road</a> trains on the Babylon line were halted briefly at <a href="/topics//Seaford,_NY">Seaford</a> Sunday afternoon after a Babylon-bound train struck a person on the tracks. 
 The incident, which occurred at 2:20 p.m., involved the 1:10 p.m. train from Penn Station, which struck the person in <a href="/topics//Seaford,_NY">Seaford</a>, <a href="/topics//MTA">MTA</a> spokeswoman Margie Anders said. 
 The person was taken by emergency crews at 2:40 p.m., and service was restored on a single track with delays of up to 30 minutes. 
 No further information was immediately available.
