Police: Accident closes Central Avenue in Valley Stream
An accident closed Central Avenue in Valley Stream after a utility pole was knocked into the road Wednesday, Nassau County police said.
Police said there do not appear to be serious injuries.
Police said the road was closed between Wells Avenue and North Drive at about 10:30 a.m. It was not clear how long it would remain closed.
