Nassau County police are looking for a pair of men who they say robbed two Hempstead delis Friday night.

The first robbery happened at about 9:15 p.m. when the two suspects entered a deli at 463 Greenwich St., police said. One man held out a handgun and demanded cash from a deli employee, 38, who compiled. The men then left the store with $300 in cash, police said.

The same men then robbed another deli at 755 Front St. about two hours later, police said. At 11 p.m., the men entered the second deli and ordered three customers to lie on the floor. Again, one man held a handgun. The men then removed a watch and a bracelet from two victims and removed an unknown amount of cash from the register, police said. The men again fled the scene.

No injuries were reported at either deli, officials said. There were no further descriptions of the suspects, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information about these crimes to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls remain anonymous.
