Police: Burglary suspect on loose in East Hills area

Nassau County police were searching for a burglary suspect Saturday evening in the East Hills area between Roslyn and Old Westbury.

Police said the suspect fled the scene of a burglary around 5 p.m. in East Hills at an unspecified location.

A police helicopter was called in to aid in the search. There was no indication the suspect was armed.
