Police: Deliveryman robbed at gunpoint in Roosevelt

Nassau County police are asking the public for help finding three men believed to have robbed a Chinese food deliveryman Friday night in Roosevelt.

At about 9:15 p.m., the three suspects approached the deliveryman in the 100 block Willett Place, pointed a handgun at his head and demanded his belongings, police said. The men ran south toward Washington Avenue after taking the victim's cash, cellphone and wallet.

The deliveryman was not injured.

The men are described as being in their early 20s and wearing dark clothing. Those with information should call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
