Police: Doctor bought cocaine at Massapequa gas station
A doctor from Brookville was arrested Monday and charged with cocaine possession at a Massapequa gas station, police said.
Eliot Danziger, 53, an ear nose and throat specialist with offices in Levittown, Massapequa and Flushing, was arrested at the Getty Gas Station at 975 N. Broadway, police said.
Danziger was in a 2010 BMW parked in the station next to a 2003 Hyundai when patrolling officers saw an exchange of cash and an object, police said.
The woman in the Hyundai, Kelly Coleman, 45, of 25 Zack St., North Babylon, was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance. Danziger, a physician with Ear, Nose and Throat Associates was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Both were to be arraigned Tuesday in First District Court, Hempstead.
