A Uniondale woman stopped on suspicion of speeding on the Meadowbrook Parkway in East Garden City on Monday faces charges of criminal impersonation and obstruction after she gave police a false name to conceal she was driving with a suspended license, State Police said.

Charmaine Morales, 38, gave police her sister's name after she was pulled over at about 8 p.m. while driving north near Stewart Avenue, police said. Morales was driving her blue Toyota at 76 mph in a posted 55 mph zone, according to a news release.

She was arrested and is charged with criminal impersonation, obstruction, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

She is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Hempstead on Sept. 28.
