Drivers injured in taxi-SUV crash in Massapequa, police say

A collision between a Yellow Cab taxi and a sport utility vehicle in Massapequa on Tuesday sent both drivers to the hospital with what police termed "non-life-threatening injuries."
The two-car crash occurred at the intersection of Hicksville Road and Clark Avenue at 9:48 a.m., Nassau County police said. Police said it was not immediately clear if there was a customer in the taxi -- or if there were passengers in the SUV.
Additional information was not immediately available.
Police said no one had been charged and that the collision was under investigation.
