Police find car with no plates was stolen
Police stopped a person driving a minivan without license plates in Hempstead and found it had been stolen, police said.
Hempstead Police officers stopped the 2002 Kia Sedona minivan Wednesday at 2 a.m. on North Franklin Street. An investigation revealed the minivan had been stolen, police said.
James Rosano, 18, of Rushmore Avenue, Carle Place, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said. He was scheduled for arraignment Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.
